“Work is not man’s punishment. It is his reward and his strength and his pleasure.”-

1st of May marks International Labour Day. It is the celebration of the social and economic achievement of workers.
To mark the occasion students of Grade IX -A performed a special assembly to pay a token of appreciation for all the hard work that is being done by the workers. They were presented with gifts and cards as a mark of respect. It was really a beautiful sight to see the young Dikshantians presenting a skit for the workers, who were sitting there relaxed and just enjoying the moment. Students of Kindergarten also arranged a snack party for them.
To enthuse dignity of labour in the students, Shramdaan was also conducted wherein the students cleaned the school and the nearby area. The event was designed to develop a better understanding of the labour community among our students who must learn to respect and appreciate their efforts.
