JUNIOR STUDENTS PRESENT CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA

Junior Wing staged its Annual Day Function at Inderdhanush Auditorium, Panchkula. Yadwinder Sharma, Municipal Councillor, Zirakpur, was the Chief Guest. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp and a floral tribute to founder of the school Late Shri O. N. Dikshit. The programme started with Ganesh Vandana by little dancers of Grade IV.
“The theme of this year’s annual day was ‘To Achieve, Believe…..’ in which kids took the audience through a journey of success in life through different elements like high ambitions, passion, role of struggle and failure, hard work, hope, positive thinking, happiness and above all self- belief.” Said Mitul Dikshit, chairman of the school.
In the first showcase a dance performance by Kindergarten students presented the innocence & happiness associated with the toddler years. The next group of students displayed the power of aiming high & possessing a passion for one’s dreams. In the midst of this, another group of children expressed the role that struggles and failure play in one’s path of success. The Juniors enacted a play showing the real story of a boy from Ranchi who met with an accident and fought back his disability successfully with his extra ordinary will power he has set an example of courage, bravery and self-belief for others. Spreading the message of remaining positive and hopeful in all situations a group of students danced to the tunes of ‘Umeedon Waali Dhoop’ presented in the form of a medley of the same song in three different languages. Students from Grade III emphasized on the importance of hard work. The show concluded with a puppet show on self-belief and a grand finale where all children coming on stage together carrying the banners of all the beliefs they emphasized upon during the show.
One could clearly witness the waves of smile spreading all across the auditorium. The very inspiring act of children beautifully extolled the crucial significance of self-belief and success. The audience was kept enthralled by the students who in their colourful and joyful appearance brilliantly demonstrated the theme, through the assortment of dances and skit.
