Knowing oneself better and pride building, be it for family, school or for themselves, are important facets of child’s personality and help him/her lead a worthy life. The theme for month August ‘I am Special’ was designed for students to recognize their strengths and weaknesses, set and achieve their goals and respond appropriately to what is happening around them. The activities during this period included students converting the classroom into Inspirational Room, writing Daily Diary, Writing a letter to their future self, Writing Positive things about each other and Wearing Star badges. The boards in the common areas included topics like importance of Positive thinking, Stress management, Values and ethics and Handling adolescence.
