Dr Rajni Chandan, Principal, Dikshant International School, was honoured by Amity University for exemplary leadership in the field of education. The award was presented by the Chief Guest Lt Gen Manvendra Singh at the Edu-Leader’s Conclave held at Amity University, Lucknow Campus. The honour was conferred in recognition of the achievements of Dikshant in Space Outreach program, winning accolades in International Space Settlement Design Competitions, being the first school in India to have an on-campus planetarium to satisfy students’ curiosity, organising literature festivals and International Exchange Programs for the students.
The conclave was attended by about 100 principals of schools across India including Ms.Padmini from Welham Girls School, Mr Matthew from Doon School and Ms.Meenakshi from Modern School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi. The Edu-Leader’s conclave was jointly hosted by Amity University and the Institute of Career Studies on Saturday, 28th January 2017. Core issues discussed in concla ve were designing suitable curriculum for schools, career planning, developing skills in students and non-routine skills in teachers and principals, besides enhancing the happiness quotient of schools. Mr.Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant Group of schools, congratulated and appreciated her efforts in taking the school to new heights under her leadership.
