A two day annual exhibition was organised by Dikshant International school on 6th and 7th Feb, 2015. The exhibition covered the academic and creative front of the curriculum.
Students from kindergarten to secondary section, displayed their projects and working models, covering the concepts of Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Robotics. In addition, the students showcased their creativity in art and craft section through different art forms like sculpture, pottery, canvas painting, paper mache etc. The major attractions of the exhibition were the sound sensing robots assembled and programmed by students, hydraulic J.C.B model and the solar city in science, power point presentation by senior students covering integrated curriculum and display of various landforms in social science. The use of Jodo kits for display of nets of 3-D solids and patterns using tessellations was the major highlight in Mathematics section. The fun zone including number puzzles, soma cubes, Hanoi tower was highly engaging for the visitors. The display of theme based models and practical demonstrations by students of kindergarten and primary section clearly reflected the supremacy of application based learning implemented in the school. Mr Mitul Dikshit, Chairman Dikshant Internation School said “The purpose of organising annual exhibition is to provide students a forum, to pursue their natural curiosity and to help them relate learning process to physical and social environment.”
