“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”
Baisakhi falls on April 13 every year and is celebrated as the harvest festival in Punjab. The day is observed by Punjab’s farming community as a day of thanksgiving for the abundant harvest. The community also seeks blessings for future prosperity and progress. To mark the occasion, special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VI today wherein students spoke about the significance of the festival and enthusiastically performed Bhangra- the folk dance of Punjab.
