Van Mahotsav or Forest Festival is an annual tree-planting festival celebrated in the first week of July in which thousands of trees are planted all over the country. It is celebrated to spread awareness on forest conservation and to save the environment.The celebrations gave an ideal opportunity to instill personal and social responsibility in our students towards safeguarding trees and forests. An online awareness campaign on the importance of trees was organized for Dikshantians. Dressing up in green, singing the songs, writing poems, planting a plant, skit on selfless service by trees, sending hugs to trees followed by a virtual tour to Amazon Forests, they enjoyed doing all the activities planned for them. It was an amazing opportunity for them to establish a connection with nature.
