The Kindergarten section of Dikshant International school embraced winters by organizing a soup fest at the school campus on 12-Dec-14. A day prior to the fest students visited a farmer’s market and learned about all seasonal vegetables. Putting their learning in action, they even prepared head gears symbolizing all winter vegetables and proudly wore them on the day of the fest. To further strengthen upon the concept of winter meals, various fun based worksheets were handed to students to recognize and colour. The faculty and staff members were invited and hosted by the Kindergarteners and treated to variety of soups and other winter snacks. Students enjoyed having soup meal together, in their dining room, which was all decorated as per the theme of the fest.
