The 66th Republic Day of India was celebrated at Dikshant International School with immense patriotic zeal and fervour. Mrs. Manju Jaidka, Professor at Panjab University, Chandigarh and Chairperson of the Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi, graced the occasion as the chief guest for the day. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland. The day began with the hoisting of the Indian flag followed by the National Anthem. The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic beats of patriotic songs sung and danced upon by students. As a part of the cultural program students of primary wing represented a part of life of Dr. BR Ambedkar through one act play. Mr. Mitul Dikshit, chairman Dikshant International school spoke to students about the crucial role they play in framing the future of the country.
