Classical Music

The school encourages students to develop an interest in music. For the benefit of the students, the school has a large variety of musical instruments including Western instruments like the guitar, drums and mandolin, Indian instruments like the tabla and sitar as well as instruments like the harmonium (reed organ) which are Western in origin but have become Indian in practice. The school also encourages promising singers to take up voice training. The school also has its own full-fledged band.
