As a part of the IP project.Students were explained about how the thermal energy obtained by burning coal could be converted into electrical energy. Students put up their queries and were answered by the Junior engineer. To understand the application of Trigonometry in our surroundings, an activity was conducted by students in different groups. They were asked to make clinometers in advance and they used it to find the angle of elevation of the cooling tower at the thermal station and the building in that area. They also found the distance of those points from the point of observation using measuring tapes. With these observations and the use of trigonometrically ratios, height of the tower and the13620791_1816476708587796_860976286222656779_n
