A creative writing workshop was organised for students of age group 10-14 years at the school campus on 22-Aug-15. The workshop ‘Dear World: Telling Stories through Letters’, was conducted by Ms Mathangi Subramanian, author of ‘Dear Mrs. Naidu’. In this workshop students learnt and practiced epistolary fiction, or stories told through letters, diaries, emails or anything else that is some sort of communication between two individuals, even if one is imaginary. During the course of workshop students in different stages designed characters, gave a plot to their story by thinking of some conflict situations and finally came out with some wonderful stories conveyed in the form of letters. “These workshops which are led by experts are a part of ongoing literary program in school.
